Common ERP questions.
How long does it take to get live?
Weeks. Not the six to eighteen months a traditional ERP rollout takes, and not the instant access with no setup that a cheap tool offers. A structured onboarding gets your data migrated, your processes mapped and your team trained remotely, so nothing on your business has to stop or suffer while you switch.
Will you move our existing data across?
Yes. Data migration is one of our services, and our own unique data mapping tools bring your customers, parts, BOMs and open orders over cleanly. You start with a system that already knows your business, not a blank system you have to import data into and manually key in.
Is this full ERP, or is it really just MRP?
It is a full ERP system built on the back of decades of process improvement and programming experience. Production, stock, purchasing, jobs, costing and reporting in one place, with machine and sensor monitoring built in. If all you need today is the manufacturing core, you can start there and grow into the rest without changing systems.
Are we too small for this?
No. Output IQ has four plans to match your size and needs, from Control through Flow to Intelligence, so you take on only what fits you today. It is built for SME manufacturers, typically ten to sixty people, not scaled down from an enterprise product, so you get the capability without the enterprise price tag or being the smallest customer on a platform built for someone far larger.
Who actually delivers the setup and support?
The people who have built and use the system, not a reseller or a scripted helpdesk. Many vendors put their best people on the sale aspect, then hand you to an outside team once you sign up. With Output IQ, the same team that knows business and manufacturing is the team that helps support your business.
Does it replace our accounting software?
Yes, that is the purpose of an ERP. You can however still feed into any existing accounts package cleanly, using our API integrations, allowing you to keep the accounting tool your accountant likes, such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage, and you stop the double entry between them.
What happens if the project goes wrong?
That risk is why we work the way we do. There is no big bang go live and no drawn out implementation project to overrun. Onboarding is structured and staged, the contract is rolling monthly, and you are running on real data quickly rather than waiting months to find out if it worked.
Will the people on the floor actually use it?
That is the test that matters. Operator seats are priced so the floor can be on the system rather than filling in paper for someone else to type up later. If a system is too painful to use, it becomes shelf ware, so we build for the person at the machine or in the warehouse, not just the office.
Is it really full ERP at that price?
Yes. Plans start at £195 a month with no implementation fee and a rolling monthly contract. You are not buying a project, you are turning on a system, and the price you see is the price you pay. The larger plans add more capability as you grow, so you step up to advanced production, finance and intelligence features only when you need them.
What about multiple sites?
Multi site and multi entity is built in. Stock, jobs and reporting span every location, with one view across them all and the detail underneath when you need it, so processes and reporting do not drift apart as you grow.
Can we keep the tools we already rely on?
Where it makes sense, yes. Output IQ integrates with common business tools so it sits alongside what already works rather than forcing a clean sweep on day one.
What if we want to leave?
We strongly believe the platform pays for itself, so the contract is rolling monthly and you are never locked into a long term deal. Your data is always yours to export, and if you ever do leave we help you take a full copy with you. We would rather earn the next month than trap you in a contract.
